I’m Elena Makarova, a portrait photographer serving Northern Virginia and the DMV area since 2017.

My goal is to make your portrait session enjoyable and capture your unique personality. Through thoughtful lighting, careful editing, and a relaxed approach, I create portraits that help you look and feel your best.

I also enjoy photographing ikebana and collaborating with members of the Ichiyo School of Ikebana’s Washington, DC Chapter, capturing the graceful lines and quiet beauty of their floral arrangements.

In my personal life, I love traveling and exploring street photography, which encourages me to broaden my creative horizons and brings a fresh perspective to my work.
